چکیده
We show that the triangular extension of a generalized quadrangle of order (3,3) is unique. The proof depends upon certain computer calculations.

On derivations and biderivations of trivial extensions and triangular matrix rings
Triangular matrix rings are examples of trivial extensions. In this article we determine the structure of derivations and biderivations of the trivial extensions, and thereby we describe the derivations and biderivations of the upper triangular matrix rings. Some related results are also obtained.
متن کاملOn the structural properties for the cross product of fuzzy numbers with applications
In the fuzzy arithmetic, the definitions of addition and multiplication of fuzzy numbers are based on Zadeh’s extension principle. From theoretical and practical points of view, this multiplication of fuzzy numbers owns several unnatural properties. Recently, to avoid this shortcoming, a new multiplicative operation of product type is introduced, the so-called cross-product of fuzzy numbers. Th...
متن کاملSwitching of generalized quadrangles of order s and applications
Let & = (P, £, I) be a generalized quadrangle of order 5, s φ 1, having a flag (x, L) with χ and L regular. Then a generalized quadrangle SP = (Ρ',Β',Ι') of order s can be constructed. We say that &" is obtained by switching from & with respect to (je, L). Examples are given where ¥ £ &'\ e.g., starting from a T2(O) of Tits, with O an oval of PG(2, q), q even, with nucleus «, the GQ T2((O {*}) ...
متن کاملJoint and Generalized Spectral Radius of Upper Triangular Matrices with Entries in a Unital Banach Algebra
In this paper, we discuss some properties of joint spectral {radius(jsr)} and generalized spectral radius(gsr) for a finite set of upper triangular matrices with entries in a Banach algebra and represent relation between geometric and joint/generalized spectral radius. Some of these are in scalar matrices, but some are different. For example for a bounded set of scalar matrices,$Sigma$, $r_*...
متن کاملThe Classification of Generalized Quadrangles with Two Translation Points
Suppose S is a finite generalized quadrangle (GQ) of order (s, t), s 6= 1 6= t, and suppose that L is a line of S. A symmetry about L is an automorphism of the GQ which fixes every line of S meeting L (including L). A line is called an axis of symmetry if there is a full group of symmetries of size s about this line, and a point of a generalized quadrangle is a translation point if every line t...
